Meet Taj, skateboard and music aficionado. She has been dating Johnny Silver, whom she met on But his musical star is definitely on the rise, and soon Taj barely knows who he is. Johnny begins mainlining TAP the drink; usually this organic substance with a secret ingredient is only passed out at TAP parties, but he has found a way to shoot it up. He also has tons of groupies and is getting ready for his biggest concert yet.

But before the concert gets underway, Johnny disappears in a flash of white light while Taj and Johnny's teen agent, Sutton Werner, watch from the sidelines. Taj has no idea where Johnny went and, in the meantime, decides to take over his popular radio show. Sutton seems to know something, but he isn't telling a soul.

Enter Nick Huntington, sports star and popular boyfriend of Maxi. He notices that his little stepsister Fish (who used to be unpopular) now has lots of friends, and they all go to mysterious parties. She also has a new tattoo of angel wings. Things get worse when Nick attends a TAP party and realizes that Maxi has been cheating on him while spreading trash talk and pictures of him all over He then spots Fish at the party but loses track of her after she disappears into the secret password-only back room --- and never returns home.

Nick and Taj eventually meet, and they connect on many levels. She introduces him to the shocking truth about what really happens in the back room at TAP parties. Nick begins to piece together the dark undertones of TAP with Taj's help. The popular website is now developing into a cult, but who is the leader? From music moguls to Taj, no one seems to be who they say they are, and Nick doesn't know who to trust. Will he be able to figure it out before more teens disappear at TAP events?
