With Thanksgiving under our belts, it’s officially holiday shopping season. This year’s Cyber Monday was reported to be the biggest ever, and some of the deals are still going on. Thus far, sales have reached a record $6.59 billion, which is The question is: What are people buying? Unsurprisingly, Amazon topped the charts, which means that people are scooping up everything, anything and all else in between. Mobile sales were also at an all-time high, which makes complete sense because people need a shiny new device to buy things online on-the-go. Other top hot items include the Nintendo Switch, Hatchimals and L.O.L. Surprise (read as: toys for kids). One can only hope that some of these purchases were gifts for people like you and me. But if not, that’s fine, too. I suppose. In my millennial world, Cyber Monday is just another fancy name for Treat Yo Self Day.
